Perched on the banks of the Tippecanoe River, this house hangs in the air like a treehouse, offering optimal views of the river. The house and the river provide recreational and invigorating activities: there’s a prolific flower garden, a screened porch, outdoor patios, swings, tubing, river sitting (lounging in the river), fishing, hiking, birdwatching, games, bonfires, nature walks to Mention some. Come to be in nature. A resident of the river and neighbor not lost, the great blue heron, unknowingly, catches the eye of a room, even if it only flies by. A walk to one of the islands, or across the river, is always a fun and sometimes tricky activity. The Tippecanoe River measures two and a half feet tall at normal height. There’s a mile circuit that takes you through the neighborhood, for those walkers and runners.
The open kitchen overlooks the living and dining area, making it the heart of the home. The concrete patio, beneath the house, is an excellent year-round gathering spot.
This is not a party house. No bachelor parties. No loud noises or fires after midnight due to nearby neighbors. People live on the Tippecanoe River. Respect them and this beautiful land we all share.
